DId you really read the book?

 Um, yes I did!

I am a little upset today. I had an author accuse me of not reading her book because my review was too short. Um, excuse me. Just because I write short-reviews and I am really scared I am going to give away spoilers does not mean that I have not read the book. Why on earth would I bother to write reviews and have this blog if I did not read the book. Talk about being ungrateful.

I have read all the books that I have reviewed on this blog, and if you don't believe me or don't like my reviews, then fuck off. The more I think about the... I am going to stop right there, otherwise I might end up taking down this blog.

  1. Regrettably, shitty authors exist. You're going to run into more of them, sad to say -- and there is ZERO wrong with short reviews and even saying NO to authors who raise red flags when they ask for reviews.

Any author who doesn't appreciate the time someone puts into their book doesn't deserve to be featured.

Hang in there. Lots of us appreciate what you do!

    1. Thank you so much for your encouragement. I was so upset by what she said, your words are a comfort.

  4. OMG! There is no excuse for that kind of behaviour. Some authors really think they are entilted. Don't let the few bad apples ruin it for everyone else. You reviews are fabulous and don't you forget it.

  5. I would be angry too. What a thing to accuse you of. It is so obvious that you read the books.
